This memorial is dedicated to our dad John Mannion who sadly passed away on 4th August 2009 aged 60 years after a long illness. Dad you were so brave we are really proud of how strong you were, even though you were in so much pain and discomfort you always had a smile on your face and that lovely smile will stay with us forever. No more pain and suffering, say hello to nana for us i know you's will be looking down on us. Rest in peace forever in our hearts your heartbroken daughters Leanne and Samantha xxxxxxx

whenever I speak your name;
It seems without you in my life
things have never been the same.
What happened to those lazy days
when I was just a child;
When my life was consumed in you
in your love, and in your smile.
What happened to all those times
when I always looked to you;
No matter what happened in my life
you could make my gray skies blue.

I felt the hand of god today
it touched my broken heart

He did his best to comfort me
